Holy personal boundaries and controlling behavior, Batman! I’m not even a strong feminist and I just can’t with Wade and Phoenix’s control issues. For crying out loud she’s a 25 year old lawyer. She doesn’t need to be “protected,” and leave her alone about the apartment, she likes it!! Is it love if you can’t see the strength in a person and instead feel the need to manage every one of her choices?!
