(continued) My thoughts: I want to be a good worker. I want to be kind and have energy and have pride in my work and have others be proud of the job I'm doing. I want to text Bryce. I want to see him. I want to tell him I love him no matter what, that he'll always be my brother no matter what, that I think we should commit to hanging out with each other at least once a month so we don't lose each other.

This book was unnerving at first. I think about dying all the time too, just like Gilda. There were aspects of it that I was worried would cause my OCD to worsen for the time being, but thus far it hasn't been too terribly bad. In fact, it has almost been the opposite. I am being struck by random thoughts. Perhaps this is just a response to me using my brain to read rather than flooding it with phone input.
