How come they’ve known eachother and been good friends but it’s first now they talk about their parents? Like I get you maybe don’t talk about heavy stuff with someone you’re not close to, but the author makes up the story as if they’re kinda almost best friends in a sense and that she has two best friends.

So going to a festival in a city is the kind of adventure Cyrus needs and she feels she can’t deliver.. like what? So you’re an introvert and he’s an extrovert. Big deal. You can obviously deal with it for a bit, and he doesn’t seem to mind. It seems kind of silly to be obsessed with the differences when you both want eachother so much.

That kiss came out of nowhere. I think on a re read it would make more sense, seeing how I think his fire was meant to protect his mate. And the fact that the slimy fellah immediately said sorry for kissing your woman.

Ooh first flight. After all this time I was questioning if he even knew how to fly.

So we have two idiots going to the ruins and still all this talk about the dragon needing adventure and big skies. We have never seen him fly even once. And no talk about him going on previous adventures. It’s rather repetitive like the author wants to smash our heads in with this fact.

And now we’re going to poke around in the ruins that are supposedly cursed cause the human only sprained his ankle and that’s not bad. It’s turning stupider by the second. I’m actually thinking about DNFing this cause everything is pissing me off right now. It’s not even a long book but I’m at chapter 8 and it feels like an eternity.

He needs the skies and to travel. But we have never seen him in the sky nor have we heard of him ever traveling. Talk about putting him in a box cause he’s a dragon shifter. There seem to be very few of them to begin with so it seems they have one to go by, him. And we don’t see any evidence for him wanting to roam.

Um, didn’t I read that this was fated mates? Why are the two best friends violently against them being togheter? Ive never read a story where the best friend warns the fmc away from the mmc like this. Usually it’s not even brought up, but if the mmc is a bad boy they say something like fool around with him but don’t fall in love. This story is weird.

Um, it was going rather well and we’re getting to know the characters and the world and suddenly the leaf kitty can talk and basically says he wants to be silent. What? That’s so random.

I love one bed hahaha
