I love the audio narrator. It’s compelling so far, similar to his other book, The Fire Is Upon Us. In that book, I found Buckley abhorrent and I feel the same about Goldwater, but nevertheless, important to see the roots of modern conservatism, although its roots go back farther than that and the roots aren’t so deep.
