For what it is, so far, it's great but I think there's a big omission re isrrrrrr and while I don't like judging a book for what it *doesn't* do, it must be said I fearrrrrr

Preface: a frustrating start to this book as I was excited to read it. The author bemoans the seriousness of the Trump regime’s bull-in-a-china-shop behaviour but seems to conclude that all was going swimmingly until orange man got in. The idea that the US has only RECENTLY cozied up to autocracies and dictatorships is laughable and I’m surprised that this seems to be the conclusion of the new preface (Apr, 2025)
