I will be glad to see the end of this book. Hopefully before the end of today.

Can I DNF at 90%? I’m so uninterested in this lawyer/judge romance.

We’re in the final 5th. I’m looking by forward to getting to the end of this. Likely a 4-star read. Will read the next installment when it’s out.

I’m enjoying this immensely. I should read more legal thrillers and courtroom dramas.

Enjoying the courtroom drama aspect of this book, even though I’m objecting left and right

Entered into the hearing proper. Writing isn’t so distracting since third person POV works well here. Also, it’s nice to read about this stuff as a lawyer.

The first quarter suffered from distracting prose. The plot is interesting but the author’s writing style kept removing me from the story. Didn’t enjoy that. Excited to see where trial goes though.

I feel like this is going to be an interesting book plot wise. I’m not enjoying the author’s writing. This isn’t particularly the fault of the author. I’ve just read two good books back to back so this feels mid. But I’m sure if I continue, I’ll enjoy it. I’m committing to trying it out for the first 1/3 before I make a decision.
