DNF. i shouldn't have ignored the trigger warnings at the beginning. the book just felt like too much, i don't have the emotional stability to finish it. the hive exists in a world with banned abortions and transphobia, making it feel both connected and disconnected. the themes of gender dysphoria were strong and made me feel too uncomfortable, i just couldn't finish it.
