Yash kommt endlich nach Paris, sie reisen ein bisschen rum, sie lieben es. Yash bekommt ein Jobangebote für Paris, nach einem Anruf mit seinem Vater, lehnt er es ab. Er will zurück & für NYC sparen. 4M später sollten sich die beiden am Flughafen in NY treffen, um in die gemeinsame Wohnung zu ziehen. Er kommt nicht an, er ist mit dem Auto auf dem Weg zu Sam. Sie ist schwanger, er weiß es nicht.

I went back and checked: they call her Jordan because she used to play golf. (Which I forgot entirely because that detail is never mentioned again.)

Anyway, by identifying only as "Jordan" and never her real name, she's basing her entire identity on these boys and their perception of her. Probably true, definitely worse.

Ugh. I get it, that's probably the point. But still, ugh.

Looking like a 3-star read so far. It's a MFM love triangle, so I never would've picked it up for myself, but my book club is reading it. Writing is decent, but I'm annoyed by several things, mainly that the boys call her Jordan (because she's somehow the opposite of Daisy from Gatsby), even in serious moments where her actual name would've been far more appropriate. Do they even know her name? Even we don't.
