It's a dense book. The first 100 pages are basically a dense lesson in learning ecosystems on a very local level. Good stuff.

Just started it. It's DENSE!!!!

This is for next level native plant gardeners. The author is advocating that just planting a pollinator garden of native plants, say, a raised bed or a few pots on the patio, only helps a little. We need to do more to replicate the habitat that’s been lost…rocks, logs, nesting sites, water, etc.
