Good gracious, were the other books in the Austin Trilogy this slow to build? I remember liking them a whole lot more than I am this one.

Although, points for the opening scene against the Braves; I remember going to & watching games with these exact players. (Also, LOL @ one of the side characters complaining about how boring it is compared to other games. I concur 100%. I think the pitcher needs a "shot clock.")
