Unsure what’s going on besides our main character and some “silver clown” were chasing down a dinosaur.

The way this is written is really hard to understand. It feels like there are entire sentences I can’t understand - and no I don’t mean the switch btwn English and Spanish. Literally the way the sentences are constructed.
