Status Updates From The Practice of Attention

Author (out of nowhere) says The Weather Underground made some bad choices... (like setting off bombs killing people?) Seriously, this author (I now believe) still has some problems. And I wouldn't take their advice (not that I was looking for it when selecting the book).

Author starts (intro) by telling us he's not trying to instruct us how to leave our digital distractions (or whatever else were addicted to) but then he tells us we'll Learn throughout the book how to do what the author says he did. And BTW, the book so far appears to indicate the author Still needs conviction boost (perhaps from reader affirmations?).

diaristic flows of consciousness? who the heck are you writing for... and BTW I read astrophysics books!

Author assumes we all agree our attention is deficit because of the Internet and its digital interactions. It may be true for some that the Internet is an addiction Like the author had to overcome with Alcohol but for Most of us, it's not. No, it's not, "Clear we lost our way a bit" to most of us.
