Status Updates From Daughter of Egypt

This is way different than what I typically read, but I'm liking it a lot!

Listening to this as an audio ARC and it's absolutely fascinating. Most of the historical fiction I read is set in the US, but Marie Benedict has knocked it out of the park with this one.

this is such a fascinating, interesting read. I know nothing of digging out tombs and pharaohs so I love how easy the author is making it to read all this and understand.

She didn’t become a queen until later after her father died and she married her half brother. It’s an ancient Egyptian custom of royals only marrying their royal siblings both fascinated and repulsed me.
