The second section is Felix’s longest and recounts his times studying in Montpellier and the hijinks he gets up to. The latter part gets repetitious, but overall it was a fun read, with some funny episodes.

After finishing the first part of his accounts, I was really struck by Felix’s voice which evokes emotions in situations that feel familiar for someone of a similar age. What really struck me was his manic episode near the end when he was ‘abandoned’ by his travel mate. Same dude. People get really emotional when they travel.
