Status Updates From HQ First Wifes Shadow.

Emma apologized to Heidi & forgiven but voice concerns about her drinking as Matt called them. She trusts no one. Goes for a bath; water scalds her (even though doesn’t come from tap hot). She wants out of the house without Matt noticing but he does; tells her not to drive but she runs barefoot; he chases; she gets away. Then runs over Becky’s mom standing on road: dies. Suspect now as Sue killed Emma’s parents

Emma believes she is being haunted be Beth and tells Matt. He reacts like she is imagining things. Then the story goes to Beth’s POV where she reveals how she has been stalking Emma and the plan to get her money via Matt. Beth’s mom is Emma’s housekeeper. Matt doesn’t even know the whole plan but she wants him to get her committed so he can have POA = $$. She spends her time at the house when Emma’s gone

Gina encourages Emma to see a doctor as sometimes perimenopause can cause moods like depression and even delusions/ hallucinations. Emma is upset about this and leaves. Matthew works on her day off and she cleans the gutters but she falls from the ladder which then falls on her. She blacks out; wakes up with the ladder no longer on her. When Matt gets home the ladder is up against the house and they go to doctor.

Forgot: also Emma was loved in her sauna and the heat was cranked up. At her house part Emma admits to things going missing for a day then showing back up. Heidi (mostly) and Gina imply it could be Matthew or something to do with him or Beth’s friends/family not happy about the relationship. Matt insinuated it was one of them. Heidi leaves her key and storms off. Matthew and Emma are married without telling friends

Emma has money, job, and beautiful house. Meets Matthew (freelance photographer) at event she is a keynote speaker. Romance blooms quickly. She discovers he’s a widower of 10 months. Her friend Heidi warns it’s moving too quickly as he moves in. Strange things have happened: her plants being broken but nothing else & pasta sauce mess when he’s upstairs. Bethany was apparently all round perfect & comes up often
