Baby's first plague: A telling of a young woman going through Covid. Incredibly well explained, but it was weird to read about the pandemic as well. Her going up and down with her mood; the people she saw had no names rather just nationalities, reflecting her feelings: she was home but she didn't feel at home (same as everyone else during the pandemic). Would have rather not read about the parents fucking but oh well

And the ballroom: I find this one incredibly sad. A brother suddenly losing his sister. A young mother slowly becoming deaf. “I know what I’m losing now”.
You can see how much he looks up to her, and how much she depends on his opinion even if she pretends she doesn’t. Even if she runs from it, from him, from herself.
