Omg he's gone on a tangent in the middle of a different story to tell us another story!

Overwhelmingly annoying format, keeping us guessing, keeping us wondering what any of it has to do with anything, telling each story in tiny interspersed snippets instead of just giving us the story, I am so annoyed

So far I'm wildly annoyed by this book, that has just had short pastiches about random gay people with very little connection to food and sometimes very little point. In one we're told a little bit about someone, then move on to several other people, then come back to the first person, even those these are arranged like separate articles. If I had a clearer idea of the format I might be less annoyed

Clearly this introduction is for straight people

So far I'm not enjoying the introduction. It's all over the place, and now it's delving into the history of homosexuality for some reason
