(Finished — December 20th — Chapter 22–24) I’m kind of torn between giving it a 2/5 or a 3/5. I’ll probably give it a 3, because I did enjoy the story, but the writing quality didn’t hold up after a while, and was even quite cringe-inducing at times.

The MFC is a criminal prosecutor. At a private firm. Make that make sense. This is one more stupid plot hole away from being a DNF for me.

This gives me similar vibes as Inheritance by Nora Roberts but more spooky and dark. More stories to unfold let’s see what rest of the book have.

(September 12th — Chapter 2–5) So far, this is exactly the kind of vampire thing that I've been craving for so long. It's dark and mysterious, with well-described atmosphere, but the vampire's demeanor is the main thing that I've been looking for. So excited about this! Let's hope that it continues to be great~
