Status Updates From Questions 27 & 28

This book is very beautifully written and I am learning quite a lot. It does a great job showing the ways Japanese Americans integrated into American society, how they lived between two worlds, and also that this group - like any - was not a monolith. For me it’s too lyrical for a historical fiction but I will come back to it
