Since a year ago I’ve been fully submerged into fantasy and this is going so well so far, really really enjoying it!

I'm 22 pages in and jfc is this author aware not every sentence needs to be a simile?

Souls in Ruin is in the running to be my top read of the year and it is only February. I have so many thoughts and an incredible amount of respect for the author for writing this story. It is making me feel so seen, raw, and split open. I would be failing my job as a book reviewer though to not warn you to check trigger warnings. This book is incredibly dark and is meant to resonate with survivors.
