Wow, Metamorphosis is definitely shot up to my favourite of the stories. Definitely resonates with me, as I know how it feels to be judged and not understood by doctors. Love how she embraced the inhuman, very uplifting :)

a little ways through the next story, and I LOVE the protagonist, she is very realistic and relatable

definetly my second favourite short story I’ve finished so far. almost made me cry, the ending perfectly bittersweet :((

Finished the fourth story, somewhat empowering! I do think that the author definitely is a bit harsh on Julie, it all feels quite fatphobic in the way she writes. But nevertheless, kept my attention and was captivating!!

“She felt loved, why take that away from her?” I feel so bad for Julie, just let her fuck her ghosts in peace.

Finished the third story, equally captivating aswell as frightening!

Finished the second short, A sunny place for Shady people. Not my personal favourite, don’t understand why she used a real life murder, just feels insensitive and careless. However I did like the characters.

I’m glad I trusted the process, the characters are very believable and make me smile, especially Jenny and Isabella! I do honestly wish she could’ve made a fictional murder situation, in place of Elisa’s. I get immediately taken out of the story any time she’s mentioned.

A little irked so far, seems kind of insensitive to use a real woman’s death for this story.

Finished the first short, was so sweet and poignant :(
