This book is so full of weird factoids, mostly gleaned from people around the artists who observed them and reported back to biographers or whatnot (I think perhaps posthumously; some of the habits are not things anyone would voluntarily admit, surely?)

Anyhow. It's ripping along.

skipped the intro, read the first profile... it's so good, i love this! auden's routine was probably unhealthy in some ways but relatable and made me feel better. this book is ticking all the boxes so far
