I definitely would've preferred a more linear timeline for the sake of connecting with the characters but it's not that bad so far. His books still don't strike me as much as I would like it to, but they're not bad

I feel like I’m escaping into this world every time I pick it up. Goodreads has more pages than mine smh.

Beautifully written by one of the masters of the art. This one reads like poetry. Every line feels like a metaphor and the themes all make me think about the meaning of the story. But it’s never difficult, never esoteric, never smug, it flows over you like sunshine on your body in February. It allows you to think at your own speed. 100 pages in and I’m in no rush to finish. Relax and enjoy.
