Half though and we have hit the rift … the name of the play is different and we are led to believe that on the outside the narrator is happy (the play a smash success, she managed to nail the scene; Tomas doesn’t fear her cheating on him, because having the child didn’t give her room to cheat) … but she’s on edge now with Xavier moved home and listless in the way we imagine she was post loss of her child
