Status Updates From A Fated Reckoning

Ok, at first I was like, “is this going to be like every baseline fantasy?” NO. I am eating this one up and having so much fun!

The exploration of betrayal, hurt and deception of someone you quite literally tied your soul to and loved beyond measure- I think I like this trope. The one of destined lovers, to enemies, back to lovers. The tension & quick whip banter is my favorite!

When the last of his pale skin turns, I lean down and whisper into his ear.
“I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving you. We were always playing a losing game.”

I love me some trials and tension

“There was a time you believed I’d rip the stars from their perches for you. Die for you. That has not changed, even after all this time. “

Okay, this is such a unique concept I am already so intrigued by the story! Picture a classic romantasy, a fae and a vampire fell in love and decided to soul-bond to each other. Then he betrays her. She decides to sell her soul to the fates, severs the soul-bond and flees from him devastated with a shattered heart.
This story picks up 200 years later! He suddenly shows back up in her life… needing her help
