Interesting chapter about her trip to Kashmir, photos included etc. So true, and I do know this, but it never seems to help me do things ahead of time, I still leave forms/accounts etc. to the last minute! Comes from a family of teachers. Some of these things mentioned in the book, I actually do or have done, without realising it, so-good for me!

Moving house, lots of times, parents divorced so moved with mum and siblings to Vienna. Moved later to share apartment with her brother, then moved to live with a boyfriend. Chuckle at the thought of this long forgotten sweater she got in England with Big Ben emblazoned on the front. De-cluttering as she's learnt through having to move so much, she has so much stuff she doesn't use, she just moves it!

Varied jobs she's had, a wealth of experience-yet this book is never preachy or I did this I did that, the tone is just right and it was all very appealing to me.

About her life, family here and loved ones who are now gone, her travels, all very interesting. Trying to make herself understood pronouncing Beijing different ways. So, just had a wonderful chapter with the build up to meeting her husband. They didn't seem to like each other much at first, made me smile at times then they got together. Now this chapter is talking about an affair with Jim. The book's not meant to be in order, but, is Jim a before Florian gentleman or after? Don't think it really matters, it's just my obsession with wanting to read everything in order!

Love how she writes about meeting Florian. At first he wasn't interested in the book project. Her annoyance that he wasn't ready on the dot for their 3pm meeting, holding her finger on the doorbell-ha ha! A few smiles in this chapter. Love how she writes about meeting Florian.

This chapter concerned with weight issues. She had been comfortable with her weight all her life but with her job in transportation, pounds were starting to creep on. Adding weight can also add many other issues with it so it will be interesting to read Gisela's take on this and (I'm sure she will have this handled) her solutions.

Seems to be living frugally at this point in the book. We learn about her taste in shoes-some types she likes, some she can't stand and would never wear. Mostly casual dresser. Learning a bit about Gisela's style in this chapter. Red-and now, from her Facebook profile pic, she seems to have red glasses.

She was now a single mum with two children. I do like these easy to read more random subject chapters but would have liked a more chronological approach to how she came to have her kids then how she came to be single-although-it does set you wondering-so you got to read more!-good tactic I think!
