Status Updates From Broken (Forbidden, #2)

I’m kind of just feeling irritation because of the lack of closure and sudden resurgence of intense emotions, especially out of Blake. Everything is just throwing me off kilter - and Jewell literally punching him multiple times?? I need to just take a break and get my mind of the gaps so I can hopefully finish this book and find out where their relationship ends up.

Not a huge fan of how this started. VERY little exposition about what happened in the three months between the end of “Bound” and the auction here. Nothing about the hearing or what happened with Blake or why he is still so against Jewell. Also, if he’s a billionaire, and so controlling, why not hire a PI to look into Jewell and her brother’s situation??? I’m just not excited with the start of this novel.

What the crap? Nope. I'm done.

I don't get why he's so mad still considering what he found out in book one. This makes no sense. :/
