Status Updates From Olive Kitteridge

This might be too reductive, but it occurred to me tonight that Olive Kitteridge is kind of like a white Madea: large and ornery—rude even, at times—imparting life lessons to others while dealing with her own hang-ups in private. I just Googled “who is the white Tyler Perry” and I think the best answer it gave was Adam Sandler. Can Adam Sandler play Olive Kitteridge? Idk, I feel like he could pull it off.
