Status Updates From White Nights

I’m frustrated by how someone can romanticize a life lived entirely in their head, mistaking imagined connections for real ones. It feels beautiful on the surface, but I can’t ignore the emptiness underneath or the years lost to it. It hits too close to home, reminding me of people who chose dreams over reality and left others to carry the consequences. I see the intention, but I can’t separate it from the cost
