This book is so stupid

I’d really like to know more about the whole phenomenon, rather than the characters to be honest. It seems this really weird and devastating thing is happening and everyone has just sort of accepted it and we are following the impact it’s had on some of the characters. Hopefully there is more digging into the events and what’s caused it coming soon.
