Status Updates From Equus

I’d watched the film just under a week ago, and thought that it’d be a different experience reading the play, but it’s really not. Lumet’s adaptation is incredibly faithful, but I can still receive a lot more subtext from the original text than the theatrical reenactment. Zara’s annotations from when she studied this are helping a lot with discerning meaning in stage directions, etc.
