Status Updates From The Omitted Place

Don't read this while you're eating. :/

I'm not crawling on this book because I dislike it or anything, really just because I haven't had time for my Kindle reading. I love this book and very much look forward to it. I feel like this author transitions into the surreal so suddenly and easily that it normalizes the sometimes brutal and usually horrific visions the main character has, which is really cool and unusual. I feel like I'll see it in real life!

One more percent into it and suddenly everything just got real. Good horror right here, like watching a movie almost!

So far I think this is written in an appropriate voice for the main character. I'm just getting into it so I can't say much, but I'm looking forward to reading more.

Great books are like delectable meals; I like to take my time, savour them, and not want them to end! Yet if I had more than 5mins to spare atm, I would've devoured this book in 2days and then re-read it. But my 18-mnth old cannot feed/clothe herself, so I can't. But confident I am that this book is fantastic to the end, I already purchased the paperback for my sister’s Xmas present. She will LOVE this as much as me!

Loving this story so far; had me at page 1. Radie is very relatable. The descriptive writing is imaginative, intense and disturbing.
