Status Updates From Arabskie noce

Absolutely fantastic. Burton's footnotes are a treasure in and of themselves. I'll probably put this down shortly if the scene setting loses its magic a bit until I feel encouraged to return to Arabia.

Good lord this book is long. Trying to finish before August so I don’t have a YEAR on my reading log for a book. 200 pages of actual story left. The last 200ish pages are notes and those don’t count as reading so I’m further through the book (at least that’s what I’m telling myself).
