I have had this book for 5 years.
The story has started well 🤞

Devoured this book like the other one I read by this same author… the characters and situations are complex which I like. And not unbelievable/cringey in terms of characterization/dialogue… the set-up could be seen as kinda weird but I can look past it. 3.75 stars?

I hate it and I can’t get past chapter 2

It still doesn’t fully explain Dupré, Jonathan, Hercule and Tyndale involvement. Only the personal Tyndale revenge. Arrrgh, it’s annoying.

I am struggling to find romance or the mystery surrounding the revenge. This is all I have so far - Daniel likes her, Diane is weird, Tyndale is a key player, something happened to Jeannette, and that’s all folks.

Whatever this guy’s revenge scheme is, it’s elaborate.

Revenge, guardian - ward trope and bad-ish reviews! This should prove interesting.
