Status Updates From How the Wolf Lost Her Heart

Wow, the wait was entirely my fault, but I do have a review coming up!

Just finished 8-1-16 can't wait for next in series.

Nope. This book is not up my alley. Not going to review it, as I disliked it straight from the start. There are people who will enjoy this style of writing, but I am not one of them. Not enough depth for what I am looking for in a read.

I am also not a fan of the interjections within () in this story. It is making the telling feeling even worse... And it is often used.

I don't remember if this was a free read or not. I got it a while ago. I am not enjoying this read. I don't want to be told everything. I do t want to be told how these characters feel. I want to experience it. That is not happening here. The description seemed so interesting, too. :(

Of course the male introduced as a potential love interest is a hot commodity. I really shouldn't be surprised by this particular cliche by now. Girl meets boy, dislikes boy, yet strangely intrigued. Finds out boy is hot commodity. I mean, it can work as a cliche and be an entertaining read, but I am not feeling it so far.

I am not a fan of the exposition dump at the start of this book. I put it aside after getting through the initial wave of information; honestly, I wasn't all that interested in the info dump. I just wanted to meet the character right away and, well, get to the story rather than historical information that explained how the story could happen. Not gonna lie, disappointed so far.

Really loving this book.

: im currently reading this on my kindle, the author sent me a while ago a message saying if i could read her book and reviwe it and i said yes.. still enjoying it a lot :) im on chapter 16 i totally recommend it
