Status Updates From The Song in My Heart

I think I’d like the audio better with a different reader. Krystal Hammond keeps dropping the ‘g’ at the end of words. In a book about musicians, there is a lot of ‘seen’ (sing) and ‘seener’ (singer) to bother me.

I don't usually hate characters, but I'm hating Dayna.

There are a lot of musical references in the story (which I don't know). I just don't listen to much music these days. I've probably heard some of the music, but I don't know it by name. Perhaps that's why I am just not connecting with the story right now. I am going to give it another 10%, and see how it goes. Richardson is one of my favorite authors, but maybe this isn't the right time for this book.
