She calls it corruption but from their perspective this girl appears claiming to be their king’s daughter, then everything falls apart and she disappears looking guilty, and then shows back up killing guards to slaughter their newly appointed (albeit crazy) king and demand their loyalty- yeah I’d be hesitant to follow her too, you can’t just walk in and say “I’m supposed to be queen” and be okay with it

These characters are genuinely going insane and it’s not making them any better

They say they’re playing chess but with the amount of information they’re willingly divulging for no reason just shoes they’re playing go fish at best

I don’t get it- how is everyone traveling so quickly??? I thought some characters were in one country and others in another but they’re all showing up at different spots within a matter of pages
