This is a bizarre, twisty story. Kids who like weird stories with unexpected things happening would enjoy this book. I almost DNF’d it, but I’m glad I just sped up the audio instead - All the confusing, strange things are coming together at the end to make more sense, and it feels satisfying to get those answers. I do like that it isn’t formulaic or predictable.
