I'm already fed up with Christian Francis and his loose interpretations of movie novelizations. Just a couple chapters in and he's already totally renamed and misdescribed John Glover's character as well as misdescribing Bernie Casey's and Julie Carmen's characters. And he didn't even get Sam Neil's line about The Carpenters right. Is it so fucking hard to watch a movie and take notes before writing a novelization?!?

Very good, if basic, movie novelization.

There are an awful lot of errors in this. I thought I was perhaps just being picky, then I checked the other reviews. It’s quite distracting to read, actually. Might even be enough to make me give up, as the rest of the writing, even when it’s correct, is not particularly good.
