Waruu is a terrible impersonator. WHY does he think this plan will work? He’s likable but also SO full of himself

And I get Daccias has trauma and isn’t trusting but I’ve been waiting 80 pages for just a HINT of his reasons for not using the separator. A emotion or vague memory besides him just being INSUFFERABLE

And I compared Australia’s map to this book and the time/distance ratio ain’t working

Well I’m enjoying the fast pace, and the snark is rubbing off on me (as will be shown below) but also sorta dislike the characters (I’ll talk about them in a second update) and certain aspects of the writing style

“the Sons of Day are descended from the sun, and the Sons of Night from the stars” First, how? Second, they’re all stars

“still, the snake squirms like a viper…” Um vipers are snakes mate

My narrator has now sold me on audiobooks. 😂

That moment when your narrator is so good you get so emotionally invested in the story that you forget you wrote it. 😂

The way my narrator, Barrett Leddy, says “no” in Daccias’s voice is truly iconic. 🙌 😂

Oh my! Barrett Leddy blew this out of the park narrating this. 🤩 He captured the voices so well (even Daccias’s haughtiness 👌🏻). And somehow he made the humor even funnier. 😂

Wow this story is so good! 🤩

So far good but I am also extremely confused. No clue what’s going on anymore I’m kinda just along for the ride 🤷‍♀️
