This isn’t as dramatic as some of the other Kent universes I’ve fallen into (not that I don’t very much enjoy that shit too). It’s almost clinical, or precise. Which makes sense given a military setting. But now, the setting has shifted significantly. I just hope it doesn’t change the tone of the book.

So this book is included in the Audible plus membership and I’m looking for a new background read so here we are.
So far we are in a Military setting which is something different to what I’ve read previously. There is also a Mulan-esque plot with our FMC disguising her gender under the guise of being male.
