the last series i tried with dragons and assassins was too dark. this one the assassin is now happily undercover as a blacksmith using his vibration sense magic to protect a noble woman and her half mage daughter from mage hunters. he has adopted them as family, cool magic, engaging writing, and strange merchants arriving in town with a dragon egg that should not exist. it might kill him or save him idk yet.

This is the first e-book I've read in a fat while. Good so far too.

It's like reading a very generic American action movie, but with some kind of magic included. The plot is simple and seems too advanced for the level of knowledge they seem to have . But since the world isn't that much described I can't know for certain. I'm not sure if..search lights on some kind of compund is really feasible in this society, and the kind of paperwork they are looking at either. It does make sense
