Decided to finally bite the bullet and work through yayy going to take it slow and one artist at a time but so much fun recognizing the excerpts-also getting to see exactly what he’s talking about down the street is a pretty big plus 😋😋😋

Done with part 1, and it's such a sublime piece; looking up the works of the guys mentioned in here and the style is obviously very dated and not what you'd call a great representation of even that period now, but vasari is so right when he says they pulled painting out of darkness because shit man all of it is so inspired
