thought this would be a quick and easy classic to read.... yeah not at all. this book is challenging every brain cell i have all at once

so far: stream of consciousness, portraying the difficulties of mundane human relationships, going in depth on the differences in perspective and showcasing the nuance that wouldn't be visible from the outside. interesting but emotionally exhausting read, the smooth jumps between perspectives require the reader to be active in empathizing with the characters – building up a bias before it gets destroyed again.
