Ila is 30% done
Had high hopes and generally love Powers but thought this was just not good. A weird, selfish protagonist. An homage to classical music but if you're not a Mahler aficionado, really hard to get into. Also thought the writing was clunky and portrayal of women really just kinda dumb and superficial. DNF.
