this is a great book.

i’m just in a book slump & i started reading this book at an awkward time. it deserves my full, purposeful attention at a better time.

“Would that be so awful?” I said, my voice catching. He’d hit upon something personal again, or else I was so raw I could be hurt by anything, no matter how innocuous.

I read SO much of this book years ago. Why on earth didn’t I finish it?
