Es gibt einfach ein paar unlogische Stellen. Wenn du die ganze Zeit einen Plan hast dich zu befreien, dann denkst du doch nicht "oh, es geht los, aber hoffentlich beeilen sie sich, ich muss zurück ins Gefängnis bevor jemand merkt dass ich mich befreit habe"???

Jemand bietet mir Hilfe an, die ich sehr dringend brauche, wenn ich dafür auch ihm helfe und ich überlege ernsthaft, weil ich ja in so einer misslichen Lage bin, ob ich helfen soll? Waaas? Wie bitte ist man allein, ohne Hilfe, ohne Plan (den der andere hat) besser dran, nur weil man nichts tun muss?

Ew! Icky, creepy, and yet kind of cool.
I still dislike the writing style in this book, but wow, the story is powerful, scary, and gripping. I'm so close to the end -- the paperback is 299 pages long, not the 340 GR says -- and now I have to work! This stinks!

The General was good. I had to be better.
There was one thing the General didn't apply from his book. It stated that enemies should work together, if possible, to NOT become enemies, that the enemy should not be humiliated. But for the general, everything was about control. Control meant eliminating the competition, no matter what.
Tate's position/condition is pretty creepy! Ugh.

Eilonwy is on page 94 of 340

A slight tug on my hands drew my attention to the bindings around them. I squinted as I adjusted to the darkness. Suddenly, a set of eyes opened in front of me. They appeared rheumy, with thin veins spreading from the irises.
Really, you can see those thin veins in the dark?
The story is fast-paced and kind of interesting, but I'm finding the writing a bit clunky, which keeps throwing me out of the flow.
