The alternate history stuff is pretty cool, like Dan Brown but competently written and self-aware of what hogwash it is. Chapter 30 was a highlight although the entire string of exposition cut with a drug bust is pretty cool

This book is a lot of words and it can get confusing but it's also smart and quite fascinating
