Idk what’s going on or if this is the after effect of finishing TOG but this is not hitting the spot anymore for me. Too much drama being dragged along for nothing. I want to finish it and move on

can’t put the book down but it’s kinda hard to like it because it is so cringey at some points and uses such modern language that it breaks the immersion and the ancient forbidden love of it all vibe (and this author wrote witch of colchis which had the very same problem but way worse)
