reached the section where Jung describes his travel and I honestly cant explain how in the same breath he can say something racist like “primitives” but then also be more insightful about how horrors of colonialism than the average 21st century european. At times it feels like outdated speech coming from a man whos genuinely appreciative of non-european cultures - jurys still out but sometimes he’s cooking
